Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a phlebotomist to collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary methods. You will process orders, follow lab policies, protect confidentiality, and support the mission of the organization.

The role emphasizes safe specimen collection, adherence to HIPAA/OSHA, and collaboration with Providers. Schedule: Monday-Friday 9AM-1PM; on-site position at Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; Phlebotomy class preferred.
• Experience: Phlebotomy experience or completion of a phlebotomy class required.
• Knowledge: Laboratory environment and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages.
• Process orders and specimens per protocol and policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety standards (HIPAA, OSHA).
• Provide professional customer service and assist Providers with information.
