Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate techniques
• Pack and transport specimens as required by test orders
