Job summary

Occasional travel to other sites is expected, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and prefer 2+ years in phlebotomy, plus a willingness to work overtime as needed and pass color vision tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 2+ years phlebotomy in a clinical/hospital setting.
• Ability to assist all patient groups (pediatric to geriatric).
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency allowed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs and provide excellent patient service.
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
