Job summary

Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Lawndale, NC for a contract position with potential for permanent employment. The role requires blood draw experience and a valid phlebotomy certification, with at least one year in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

The schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, for an initial 3-month duration with possible extension. A High School Diploma or GED is required along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture steps clearly to patients.
• Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, labels, centrifuges, and test orders; packs specimens for transport.
• Attends annual department trainings and adheres to OSHA/DEP regulations.
