Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections accurately and efficiently.
• Prioritize STAT orders and respond quickly to urgent needs.
• Verify test orders and ensure specimens meet all labeling requirements.
• Conduct EKGs and specialized procedures (e.g., sweat chloride, bleeding time).
• Communicate effectively with team members and support onboarding.
• Step in as an accession technician when qualified.
