Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist in Rock Hill, SC to perform blood draws, label specimens, and handle specimen processing from collection to transport.

The role requires a valid phlebotomy certification (state as applicable) and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office. Schedule is 8am-5pm, M-F, on a contract basis with potential for permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge and prepare specimens for testing.
• Record maintenance data and decontaminate as required.
• Collects and stores specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Finalize labeling and packaging for transport.
