Job summary

The MetroHealth System at Parma Health Center is seeking a qualified phlebotomist to obtain blood samples by venipuncture or capillary draw, following department guidelines and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will also assist with patient registration, visit processing, and clerical duties, and handle specimen processing tasks such as accessioning, centrifugation, bar coding, and packaging for transport, while upholding our mission and customer service standards in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Phlebotomy Technician (PBT/ASCP) or registry eligible with recent high-volume experience.
• Unregistered Phlebotomist: 7 years of phlebotomy in high-volume setting with 45 draws per 8 hours.
• Must be able to rotate locations and demonstrate professionalism and customer service.
• Physical requirements and exposure to routine hospital env.
