The role requires collecting blood from donors, registering donors in the LifeSouth system, and ensuring donor eligibility with a high level of customer service. Qualifications

• Phlebotomist role requires good people skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform blood collection and use of donor management systems.
• Comfort with varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomies and collect blood from donors.
• Collect blood using automated instruments after training.
• Register donors in LifeSouth system (IBBIS).
• Determine donor eligibility based on interviews and checks.
• Identify donors accurately during the donation process.
• Assist in recruitment and donor rescheduling.
• Assist in transitioning donors to automated apheresis when appropriate.
• Provide high level customer service to donors and staff.
