Job summary

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and specimen collection for diverse patient populations. You will enter data accurately, support billing processes, and travel to adjacent sites as required.

In this role you’ll provide exceptional customer service at patient service centers or client offices, maintaining logs and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
