Quest Diagnostics is hosting a phlebotomist hiring event in West Hills, CA. The event runs November 18, 2026, with appointment slots 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and walk-ins 12:00 PM–2:00 PM. We are hiring Phlebotomists at multiple LA-area locations and offer day shift full-time and float positions.

A valid CA phlebotomy license is required for performance. Job accounts include specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read, understand and comply with policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training courses timely.
