Job summary

SPG is seeking a Phlebotomist to join its healthcare lab team in Manhattan, KS. This contract position offers potential for permanent placement and pays $17.40 per hour, with a full-time on-site schedule (M-F, 7:30 am–4:30 pm).

The role requires phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting, and proficiency with MS Office. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment is required.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens, and maintain data accuracy.
• Update patient information and handle specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and collection procedures clearly to patients.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
