Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Organizes, prioritizes, and obtains blood draw requests including trauma, STAT, ASAP, TIMED and routine requests.
• Receives outpatient laboratory specimens and requisitions following department policies, ensuring correct specimen type and patient ID.
• Operates Hospital Information System to order, cancel, add lab test requests and retrieve patient information.
• Greets visitors, patients, customers, and staff at the reception area and maintains the work area.
• Oversees mail distribution, trains new employees, and coordinates daily assignments with supervisor.
