The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a phlebotomy program, and BLS certification if available. Work schedule is 7 days on/off with day shifts, 10 am–8 pm, for Marsh Main.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
• May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and specimens from patients and explains procedures.
• Records and documents patient information accurately.
• Follows safety regulations and asepsis techniques during phlebotomy.
• Ensures patient safety during the collection process.
• Communicates with patients and answers questions about procedures.
