Job summary

Actalent in Toms River, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws, label specimens, and prepare them for testing. The role requires handling pediatric and geriatric patients and updating patient information accurately.

This is a contract-to-hire, fully onsite position with benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability coverage, HSA, and PTO. Experience with phlebotomy is preferred and certification is helpful.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with pediatrics and geriatrics in hospital/clinic/lab.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.

• Update patient information accurately.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.
