Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain proper record keeping.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure safe specimen transport.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
