Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.

• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures, labeling, centrifuging, and specimen processing.
• Maintain accurate patient information and test requisitions.
• Package and transport specimens per protocol.
• Ensure OSHA/DEP regulations compliance and attend trainings.
• Answer telephone inquiries and interpret results as needed.
