Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data
• Collects and stores specimens according to procedures and transports as required
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients
• Label and match requisitions, package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA regulations
