Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Phlebotomist in Glens Falls, NY for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm, with every other Saturday 7am-12pm. Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent employment.

Prior phlebotomy experience and certification are required. The role involves performing phlebotomy duties, labeling samples, and ensuring accurate handling of specimens according to procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection with proper labeling and handling.
• Operate centrifuge, document maintenance data and decontamination.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly and courteously to patients.
