Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist for the Clinical Labs. The role supports patient care by performing standardized phlebotomy and processing specimens, with careful patient identification and accurate labeling.

Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM, 70% FTE. Benefits include health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, parental leave, adoption assistance, and tuition benefits. Sign-on bonus possible.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation (Preferred)
  • One year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare (Preferred)
  • Phlebotomist certification (ASCP) or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages.
  • Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
  • Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing.
  • Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system.

Phlebotomist – Clinical Labs (Finance)
Work Schedule :

This is a part-time, 70% FTE position. Scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

This position may be eligible for a $1,750 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to:

  • Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages.
  • Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
  • Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing.
  • Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system.

Qualifications
