Genesis Biotechnology Group, through Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), seeks a team-oriented Phlebotomist to collect blood and other specimens, label samples, and prepare them for laboratory submission. The role emphasizes strict adherence to infection control, patient verification, and accurate processing in a CLIA-certified setting.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, with responsibilities spanning specimen handling, quality control, and collaboration with nursing staff to

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients.
• Label vials with patient information.
• Decipher the best method for drawing blood.
• Transport all specimen samples to a nearby laboratory.
• Centrifuge blood samples according to state regulations.
• Practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identity as needed.
