Job summary

IVIRMA Global is seeking a Full-Time Phlebotomist to join our Princeton, NJ clinic. The role runs Monday-Friday from 5:30am-1:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays in Eatontown, and the position is cross-trained as a Clinical Assistant.

The Phlebotomist will draw blood for laboratory procedures used in infertility diagnosis and treatment, maintaining a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and creating a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program; certification preferred in many states
• 3+ years' venipuncture experience in fast-paced labs or hospital settings
• EMR experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Properly identifies patients and confirms required information
• Performs venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures
• Labels, stores, and transports specimens per procedure to maintain integrity
• Centrifuges specimens and prepares them for laboratory testing
• Ensures compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations and maintains a clean phlebotomy area
• Provides reassurance to patients to ease anxiety and improve experience
