Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington State is seeking a phlebotomy assistant to perform venipuncture and coordinated lab tasks within a busy, community-focused health center.

You will support physicians and lab staff, handle specimen processing for referrals, and ensure safety and infection control standards are followed. The role offers full-time status and benefits in a culturally diverse setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, waived tests, Automated CBCs, EKGs, Spirometry to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain lab reports and logs, process specimens for outside referrals, keep adequate inventory of supplies.
• Perform all tasks safely and in compliance with Sea Mar Health and Safety and infection control program.
• Assist the Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist when necessary.
