Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington seeks a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, waived lab tests, CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, coordinating with providers, and maintaining QA logs while upholding CLIA/OSHA/HIPAA standards in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Active WA State MA-P (Medical Assistant–Phlebotomist) certification required.
• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
• Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must pass pre-hire competency test.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws; ensure proper specimen handling.
• Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation.
• Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs.
• Maintain inventory, equipment, and safe lab practices per CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA.
• Communicate results and coordinate with providers and clinical staff.

We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) – Lab Services Sea Mar is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, waived lab tests, automated CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures accurate specimen collection, testing, documentation, and strong patient care.

Key Responsibilities
