Qualifications

• 3-5 years phlebotomy experience.
• Licensed phlebotomist recommended.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens as ordered.
• Maintains accurate records and QA documentation.
• Maintains inventory and ensures supplies are viable.
• Sends specimens to reference laboratories as needed.
• Processes in-house and incoming lab reports.
• Properly identifies and bands patients for transfusion where applicable.
• Operates laboratory equipment per directions.
• Maintains a clean, compliant work environment and adheres to OSHA standards.
