Job summary

American Red Cross in Delaware, OH is hiring a phlebotomist to support fixed-site blood collection. Paid training provided; prior medical experience preferred but not required. Qualifications

• Associates degree or combination of education and work experience is required.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in public setting is required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Take the time to personally connect with donors and explain the impact of donations.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain a welcoming environment for donors.
• Be detail oriented to ensure collected blood meets regulatory requirements and safety standards.
