Job summary

Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain laboratory specimens from hospital, clinic and nursing home patients, ensuring safety and quality results in accordance with regulatory standards.

You will collect blood and specimens, document patient information, follow aseptic techniques, and communicate with patients about phlebotomy procedures; a high school diploma or GED is required, with preferred phlebotomy program completion and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in a medical setting is beneficial.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program; BLS certification may be required.

• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
