Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Franklin, WI. The position runs Monday through Friday, 2nd shift (1pm - 9:30pm) with rotating weekends and a 3-month duration plus potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, maintaining equipment and records, and communicating results. Requires venipuncture experience, valid state phlebotomy certification, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the process of venipuncture clearly to patients and demonstrate technique with needles.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to required temperature.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer inquiries by reading laboratory results.
