Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions in Marinette, WI seeks a part-time phlebotomist (Contract) to join a sole phlebotomy role at the site. Schedule includes Tue/Wed 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM totaling ~24 hours per week. Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent employment.

The candidate will perform venipuncture, prepare specimens for testing, coordinate drop-offs, and deliver patient-centered service while ensuring compliance. Independent work is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED
• minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

• Performing venipuncture and specimen collection
• Processing and preparing specimens for testing
• Managing and coordinating specimen drop-offs for the client
• Providing excellent patient service while maintaining quality and compliance standards
• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
