Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington State is hiring a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, waived labs, CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures accurate specimen collection, testing, documentation, and strong patient care.

The candidate must hold WA MA-P certification, have a High School Diploma or GED, possess strong customer service and phlebotomy skills, and pass a pre-hire competency test.

Qualifications

• Active WA State MA-P certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong customer service and phlebotomy skills; must pass pre-hire competency test.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws; ensure proper specimen handling
• Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation
• Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs
• Maintain inventory, equipment, and safe lab practices per CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA
• Communicate results and coordinate with providers and clinical staff

Sea Mar is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, waived lab tests, automated CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures accurate specimen collection, testing, documentation, and strong patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws; ensure proper specimen handling
• Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation
• Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs
