Actalent is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our onsite team in Tulsa, OK. This contract role involves performing blood draws, processing specimens, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining proper documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds a phlebotomy certification and 6 months of venipuncture experience, with HS diploma and MS Office proficiency. Expect an onsite environment with rigorous safety standards and regular training.

Formación

  • Valid Phlebotomy Certification (state-specific if required).
  • Minimum 6 months of recent venipuncture experience in a hospital, laboratory, or patient service center.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Color vision required.
  • Typically 2-4 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform blood draws using straight and butterfly needles.
  • Collect, label, centrifuge, process, split, and freeze specimens as required.
  • Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and verify test orders for accuracy.
  • Package and store specimens according to temperature and transportation requirements.
  • Explain collection procedures to patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Follow physician orders and laboratory procedures accurately.
  • Record maintenance and specimen processing data.
  • Answer telephone inquiries and communicate laboratory information as needed.
  • Comply with OSHA, DEP, and company safety regulations.
  • Participate in annual training and competency requirements.

Location: Edmond, OK

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00/hour

Shift: Varies by department/location (confirm during screening)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform blood draws using straight and butterfly needles

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
