Actalent is urgently hiring a Phlebotomist for a contract role based in Georgetown, TX, with onsite responsibilities near Austin. The candidate will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and ensure proper transport and storage according to protocols.

*Must be located closer to Austin , Texas * Job Description:

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport. Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows different procedures as outlined by specific to protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen.

Qualification

• 2+ Years of experience working as Phlebotomist in lab & Hospital is Mandatory
• Pediatric & Geriatric exp Mandatory
• Phlebotomy Certification Preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Georgetown, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.82 - $22.24/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
