This role is part of a float pool that supports multiple clinical and laboratory facilities across Fort Wayne and surrounding cities, including La Grange, Kendallville, Auburn, Warsaw, Huntington, and Columbia City. You will work primarily in clinical and laboratory settings that involve frequent patient interaction, specimen collection, and use of equipment such as centrifuges and laboratory information systems. Typical schedules are 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with start times generally between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and end times between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (for example, 7:00 a.m.4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.). Hours may vary slightly by location but remain within the 6:00 a.m.6:00 p.m. range. The position requires traveling between different facilities, and mileage and drive time are compensated when applicable. The environment emphasizes safety, adherence to regulatory standards, accurate specimen handling, and professional interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
