Job summary

Labcorp in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and related clinical duties. The role requires accurate data entry, specimen handling, and patient service at the Bend Rd location.

Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00 am–4:30 pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00 am–12:00 pm, plus travel to other sites as needed. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 2+ years' experience is preferred.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, rotating Saturdays every 3rd Saturday, 8:00 am‑12:00 pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program or at least 3 months of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency required if lacking prior experience.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
