Job summary

Labcorp in Saint Helens, OR is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, ensuring accurate labeling and data entry. You will collect specimens for drug screens and other tests, maintain logs, and provide outstanding customer service while traveling to additional sites as needed.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma; phlebotomy certification or 3 months’ experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a Phlebotomist.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification must be from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking.
• Must pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
