Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Salina, KS at 415 East Prescott. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, accurate data entry, and delivering excellent patient service in a Patient Service Center.

The position requires a high school diploma and preferred phlebotomy certification or training; travel to other sites may be required. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system and process billing when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs for patient and specimen data.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients and assist with ad hoc clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Salina, KS at 415 East Prescott, Salina, KS 67401.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
