Job summary

Air Combat Effectiveness Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture for inpatients and outpatients in a hospital setting. You will follow safety procedures, dispose of contaminated needles, and complete all timed draws and urgent orders as part of a fast-paced shift.

Ideal candidates hold a California CPT certificate, have experience in an acute care hospital, and are comfortable assisting in orientation of new personnel while maintaining patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a current California CPT certificate.
• Must meet the qualifications of unlicensed personnel to perform venipuncture, skin puncture, and arterial puncture.
• One year of experience in an Acute Care hospital preferred.

Completes all timed draws, STAT, and ASAP orders before ending the shift. Strictly follows Hospital and Lab policies/procedures regarding patient care with special attention to isolation procedures. Assists in orientation of new personnel as requested.
