Vitalant is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to support donor care teams by setting up blood drives within a 200-mile radius. The role involves welcoming donors, drawing blood, and ensuring a smooth donation experience in a flexible schedule with training provided.

Job Description

We're hiring immediately, and we will train you! Whether you are just starting your career, or have some phlebotomy experience, we're here to help you leverage the extensive phlebotomy training provided, develop your talents, and perform at your best. Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations withing a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

What to Expect

Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional weekends. Variable hours: mornings, afternoons, and evenings (5:00 AM – 10:00 PM).

Average of 3–7 overnight stays per month (all expenses, including hotel and meals, covered by the company).

Start Date: 10/12/2026

Base pay: $16.45 - $17.15 / Hour

Other compensation: 5% Mobile Premium

Salary is commensurate with a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

Training Information

• 10-week Paid Mandatory Training program in Rapid City - 100% attendance required.
• Training schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00am -5:30pm; for classroom training and then field training follows the mobiles.
