Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Pembroke Pines, FL.

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Pembroke Pines, FL, 33025

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Saturday 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Pay Range: $17.74 - $19.74 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Job Requirements:

• The PSR has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED. One (+) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
