Shift : 730a – 430p Day/MST

Job Description

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) acts as the face of the organization, interacting directly with patients for routine health monitoring or critical diagnostic procedures. This role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing them for laboratory testing, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures in a safe and accurate manner

Prepare specimens for laboratory testing per standard procedures

Maintain patient confidentiality and specimen integrity

Create a welcoming and professional environment for patients

Accurately document specimen collection and maintain records

Ensure cleanliness and safety in the workspace

Adhere to company and industry protocols and compliance standards

Display leadership behaviors and maintain process excellence

Job Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in WA, CA, and NV)

Experience:

Minimum 3 Years phlebotomy experience

1+ year preferred, including pediatric and geriatric collections

Customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or service industries

Proficiency in keyboarding/data entry

Additional Requirements:

Ability to provide accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and potential overtime
