Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Certified Phlebotomy Technician to perform specimen collection and processing in the Laboratory. Under supervision, you will follow hospital policies and CPT guidelines to ensure accurate testing and patient care.

The role requires CPT1 certification, BLS, and CPI readiness within 30 days. Join a dedicated team at a modern, 184-bed acute care facility serving the Antelope Valley community.

Qualifications

• Two years prior hospital experience preferred, but not required.
• General education level (high school)
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1) certificate, which meets the California Department of Health, Lab field services
• Current BLS certification.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.

• Under the direction of the Department Manager and/or Phlebotomy Supervisor, the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is responsible for specimen collection and processing and is guided by the policies and procedures of Laboratory department and the hospital.
