The Phlebotomist coordinates data management for the laboratory, performs phlebotomy procedures, and assists with the general operation of the laboratory.
Full Time; 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per pay period. Varied shifts. Weekend/holiday rotation.
Aspirus Iron River Hospital & Clinics is one of three hospitals in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the Aspirus family.
With 300+ employees, Aspirus Iron River Hospital and Clinics serve people through a 25-bed hospital, physician clinics, dialysis center, rehab fitness center, ambulance service, and home care and hospice. The outpatient part of this practice is located in a stand-alone clinic, allowing providers to work independently with support from the entire Aspirus healthcare system. The hospital is a critical access hospital with an average daily census of 9-10 patients.
The hospital and clinics offer numerous services and feature up-to-date technology, including 64-slice CT and a mobile MRI. The medical staff includes family practitioners, internal medicine, general surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, radiologists, emergency medicine physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. Visiting specialists include ophthalmologists, oncologists, cardiologists, ENT, podiatrists, and nephrologists.
