GTT is seeking a Phlebotomist in Miami, FL for a 6-month contract. Onsite role requiring phlebotomy expertise, with patient interaction and specimen collection responsibilities. Pay rate ranges from $19.85 to $21.26 per hour, with a standard M-F schedule and rotational Saturday shifts.

Flexibility to work onsite is required; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Prior experience in pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy is valued, along with data entry proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, and WA).

Location: Miami, FL

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $19.85–$21.26 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: M-F 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Rotational Saturdays 5:00 AM–11:00 AM

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The PSR I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.

Required Skills

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent — REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
