Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Crestview, FL for an onsite, contract position. You will draw blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing, explaining procedures to patients and ensuring safe, accurate collection.

You will work to maintain patient confidentiality and display leadership in process excellence. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification is preferred, and prior phlebotomy experience is beneficial.

Phlebotomist I

Location: Crestview, FL

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $19.85–$21.26 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Monday–Tuesday 5:00–4:00, Every Saturday 6:00–11:00 (after training). Monday–Friday 6:00–3:00 during training.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The PSR I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.

Key Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.

• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent — REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
