Dignity Health–Mercy Medical Center in Merced, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist to competently collect blood and other specimens for diagnostic testing, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
You will identify patients, explain procedures, perform venipunctures, and accurately label/prepare specimens for laboratory analysis following strict safety protocols. AHA CPR/RSI competency is required post-hire and you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality patient care.
As a Phlebotomist, you will competently collect blood and other patient specimens for diagnostic testing, ensuring comfort and safety.
Every day you will identify patients, explain procedures, proficiently perform venipunctures, and accurately label/prepare specimens for laboratory analysis, adhering to safety protocols.
To be successful, you will demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills for accurate diagnostics and patient satisfaction.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
