CSL Plasma in Medina, OH seeks a Plasma Collection Specialist to perform venipuncture and pheresis, monitoring donors and ensuring safe, efficient plasma collection per SOPs. You will educate donors on processes and manage documentation in the donor information system.
The role requires adherence to FDA guidelines, strong attention to donor safety, and ability to work in a fast-paced center with potential overtime. Prior phlebotomy experience is preferred, with training provided as needed.
Summary: Responsible for the efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors by performing venipuncture, monitoring the pheresis process and following Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
ExperienceInternal CSL Employees Applicants must have successfully completed the CSL Plasma DST training.External candidates must have a minimum of 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist; one year of experience is preferable.Minimum twelve (12) months of experience in a medical or health care environmentpreferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
