Actalent is hiring a Phlebotomist for a contract position based out of Manor, TX. The role requires experience performing blood draws, labeling and aliquoting specimens, and maintaining accurate patient information.

You will work onsite at a medical facility near Austin, handling specimens according to protocol and ensuring proper transport preparation. Applicants should have 2+ years of phlebotomy experience in a lab or hospital, and pediatric and geriatric exposure is mandatory.

Must be located closer to Austin , Texas

Job Description:

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.




• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.




• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.




• Package specimens for transport. Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows different procedures as outlined by specific to protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen.

Qualification :

• 2+ Years of experience working as Phlebotomist in lab & Hospital is Mandatory




• Pediatric & Geriatric exp Mandatory




• Phlebotomy Certification Preferred

This is a Contract position based out of Manor, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.82 - $22.24/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
