Job summary

Southeastern Health in Lumberton, NC seeks a Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, instruct patients on proper collection, and prepare containers for testing.

Education, Credential, Training, and Experience

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable

Preferred

• Completion of Phlebotomy Program or completion of a hospital-led training program; completed competency required upon hire or upon completion of training program.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
• Certified through ASCP or ASPT upon hire.
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist minimum 1 year
