Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Phlebotomist, you will be an integral part of our Laboratory team, supporting various departments with compassionate, professional interactions and reliable testing. Responsibilities include:

• Collecting blood samples and body fluids for laboratory testing.
• Registering specimens and preparing/labeling samples for testing.
• Communicating test requests and results to staff and physicians.
• Collecting and documenting urine drug screens and breath alcohol tests.
• Assisting with in-services or training as assigned.
• Performing administrative duties within the laboratory.

Qualifications include:

• Phlebotomy Certification required.
• One year of phlebotomy experience or equivalent training.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Computer and clerical skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Valid driver’s license.
