Overview

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility in Herndon, VA 20171. This is a 3-month assignment (possible extension or conversion) with a pay rate of $21.00–$22.00/hour. Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

Location: Herndon, VA 20171

Duration: 3–4 months contract with possible extension

Responsibilities

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (preferred).
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (preferred).
• Keyboarding/data entry experience (preferred).
