UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a Part-time Phlebotomy Technician in Illinois. You will perform venipuncture, collect samples, and support daily workflow. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $3,000 and requires flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Phlebotomy training program completion preferred.
CPR certification preferred.

Support leadership with daily workflow and problem resolution.

Part time, Days, 6 shifts every two weeks, 5:00am – 1:30pm with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Job Description

Up to $3,000 sign‑on bonus
Transports hazardous waste from the point of generation to a designated secure storage area, completing required training for proper handling and transport.
May troubleshoot phlebotomy service concerns and coordinate daily workload assignments.
Supports leadership with daily workflow and problem resolution.
Serves as an example of professional phlebotomy performance.
Performs venipuncture and microtainer collection accurately and efficiently.

Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc. [Required]
